Interior lighting, replacing

Removal

Preparatory work

Note! As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.




Remove the lens from the interior lighting.




Open the clips (2, 3) and remove the cover (1).

Removing the interior lighting




- Remove the screws from the front edge
- Press in the catches on one side and detach the interior lighting from the headlining
- Disconnect the connector
- Disconnect the ground lead.




Remove the screw from the rear view mirror.
Remove the interior lighting.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications.

Installing the interior lighting





Install:
- the screw for the rear view mirror. Tighten
Caution! Check that the microphone cable is not trapped (if applicable).

the ground lead. Connect the connector. Align the interior lighting on the gear selector module (GSM) antenna locating pins (1) and press into place
- the screws. Tighten.

Finishing work
Install the cover.
Install the lens for the interior lighting.
Test the function.
