Removal

Removing the lock mechanism for the trunk lid




Open the trunk lid.
Remove the trunk lid panel. See: Panel, luggage compartment lid .
Disconnect the connector on the lock mechanism.

Hint: Press the connector using a screwdriver to disconnect it.

Slacken off the 3 screws.
Remove the lock mechanism.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame

Installing lock mechanism

Install:
- the lock mechanism
- the 3 M8 screws. Tighten
- the connector
- the luggage compartment lid panel. See: Panel, luggage compartment lid .
