Immobilizer
ID CODE RECEIVED
Shows if Central electronic module (CEM) has received any key code (Transponder ID-code). This applies regardless of if the key is stored as an approved key or not.
YES=central electronic module has received key code.
NO=central electronic module has not received key code.
Hint: However, a condition is that the key is of the right type, that is, that it is intended for this type of Volvo.
ID CODE STORED
Shows if the latest received key code (Transponder ID-code) is stored as an approved key code in the Central Electronic module's memory.
OK=latest received key code is stored.
Wrong=latest received key code is not stored.
RANDOM CODE TO TP
Shows if Central electronic module (CEM) sends a random code to the transponder in the key, which requires that the key code is stored.
YES=Central electronic module (CEM) sends random code to the transponder.
NO=Central electronic module (CEM) does not send random code to the transponder.
RESPONSE FROM TP
Shows if Central electronic module (CEM) receives any response from the key (via IAU), which requires that the key code is stored.
YES=Central electronic module (CEM) receives response from key.
YES=Central electronic module (CEM) does not receive any response from key.
Hint: YES, also shown with a key belonging to another vehicle of the same type, with the same key-ID but with another security code than the own vehicle's keys.
TP STATUS OK
Shows if all of the following conditions are fulfilled: 1) Key code (transponder ID-code) is stored. 2) The key has the own vehicle's security code (the key belongs to the vehicle). 3) Communication (random code and response) is OK.
