Preparatory work
Remove the master cylinder. Master Cylinder, Brake, L.H.D
Removal
Removing the brake fluid reservoir
Remove:
- the 1 screw on the side of the brake fluid reservoir
- the reservoir.
Note! Clean around filler cap at the connector between the reservoir and master cylinder. This is to ensure that no contaminants enter the brake system.
Installation
Installing the brake fluid reservoir
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. Tightening Torque.
Note! Check the seals. Replace if necessary. Only use brake fluid to lubricate the seals in the brake system.
Install:
- the brake fluid reservoir
- the 1 screw on the side of the brake fluid reservoir. Tighten. See: Tightening torque Tightening Torque
- the master cylinder. Master Cylinder, Brake, L.H.D
