Front Fender: Service and Repair

Removal
Removing the front fender
Remove:
- the fender liner
- the foam seal in the rear edge.
Bend down the bumper at (1).
Remove the 2 screws holding the front fender below the bumper.
Bend down the front part of the plastic sill (2).
Slide a clip tool in against the clip (3) and release the sill.
Then move out the sill at the guide pin (4).
Undo the remaining 6 M6 screws in the front fender. See illustration.
Installation
Installing the front fender
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Body and Frame.
Install the front fender.
Begin adjustment at the rear edge.
Then adjust in toward the hood.
Tighten the 8 M6 screws.
Install:
- the foam seal
- the bumper
- the plastic sill
- the fender liner.
