Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia: Service and Repair

Cover bumper rear

Removal

Removing the rear bumper




Remove the 4 screws (1).




Remove the 4 screws per wheel housing.




Remove the 6 catches.





Transferring components

Transfer:
- towing eye cover
- energy absorber (damper).

Replacing components

Removing side attachment brackets




Remove the 5 screws on each side.

Replacing lower attachment brackets




Remove the 2 screws on each side.

Replacing upper attachment brackets





Remove:
- the 6 screws
- the antenna amplifier (if fitted) from the attachment bracket.

Replacing the rear spoiler




Remove the 12 catches.

Note! On vehicles with tow hitch, a cutout must be made as marked on the inside of the spoiler.

Hint: If possible, use the old shell/spoiler as a template.

Installation

Installing the rear bumper shell
Install in the reverse order.
