Buckle seat belt rear, replacing

Lock seat belt rear outer (second row), replacing

Removing the outer rear seat belt buckle (second row)
Move the seat as far forward as possible.





Remove:
- the seat. See Upholstery backrest cushion outer (second row) Upholstery Backrest Cushion Outer (Second Row)
- 1 screw.

Note! Note the position of the spring.

Remove the seat belt buckle.

Installing the outer rear seat belt buckle (second row)

Install:
- the seat belt buckle
- 1 screw. Tighten. See [1][2]Body and Frame
- the seat. See Upholstery backrest cushion outer (second row) Upholstery Backrest Cushion Outer (Second Row).
Check the function of the lock.

Lock seat belt rear center (second row), replacing

Preparations
Remove the battery lead. See Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting.
Angle the backrest forward.

Removing the center rear seat belt buckle (second row)




Remove the center seat. See Upholstery backrest cushion center (second row), replacing Upholstery Backrest Cushion Center (Second Row), Replacing.
Disconnect the connector.
Lift the seat from the car.

Remove:
- the 2 screws
- the panel at the seat belt buckle.





Hint: Turn the seat upside down to access the nut.

Note! Note the position of the spring.

Remove:
- the screw and nut
- the seat belt buckle.

Installing the center rear seat belt buckle (second row)

Install:
- the seat belt buckle
- the screw and nut. Tighten. See [1][2]Body and Frame
- the panel at the seat belt buckle
- the 2 screws. Tighten.
Lift the seat into the car.

Install:
- the connector
- the center seat. See Upholstery backrest cushion center (second row), replacing Upholstery Backrest Cushion Center (Second Row), Replacing
- the battery lead. See Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting.

Check:
- the function of the lock
- that the spring is working.

Buckle seat belt rear (third row)

Removing the buckle for the rear seat belt (third row)




Slide back the seat cushion.

Remove:
- the jack
- the 2 screws for the rear center tunnel console
- the center tunnel console by pulling it forwards and upwards.
- one screw and one nut
- the seat belt buckle.

Installing the buckle for the rear seat belt (third row)

Install:
- the seat belt buckle
- the screw and nut. Tighten. See [1][2]Body and Frame
- the center tunnel console
- the 2 screws. Tighten
- the jack.
