Headlamp/bulb, replacing

Preparatory work

Removing the bumper casing




Ignition off.
Set the switch for external lighting to zero.
Remove the casing for the bumper. See: Casing, bumper front, replacing Front Bumper Casing, Replacing.

Removal

Removing the headlamp/bulb





Remove:
- the 4 x screws
- the connectors
- the headlamp.

Note! To replace the bulb, see: Bulb headlamp, replacing Bulb Headlamp, Replacing.

Location of components




1. Turn signal lamps
2. Parking lamps, applies to vehicles equipped with halogen lamps
3. Parking lamps apply to cars with Bi-Xenon lamps
4. Dipped beam
5. High beam.

Installation

Installing the headlamp/bulb

Install:
- the connectors
- the headlamp
- the 4 x screws
- the casing for the bumper. See: Casing, bumper front, replacing Front Bumper Casing, Replacing.

Finishing

Adjusting the light pattern
Check and adjust the light pattern. See: Headlamps, aligning Adjustments.
