Parcel shelf (Executive/Premier), replacement

Removal

Preparatory work





Hint: When the car is equipped with head restraints with automatic lowering, lower the head restraints by pressing the button at the centre console.

Remove the left-hand side cushion.
Unplug the connector for the sun blind.




Fold down the left and right-hand side panels in the cargo compartment.
Unplug the connector for the IR sensor on the control module for rear sound separation (RAS) in the cargo compartment.
Fit the IR sensor's cable harness in the passenger compartment.

Lowering the rear seat backrest cushion




When the car is equipped with a refrigerator, remove the protective covers to the locks for the rear seat's backrest cushion. Be careful with the glued surface.
Pull in the handles and fold the rear seat backrest cushion forward.

Removing the parcel shelf





Remove:
- the screws, x2, under the parcel shelf
- the parcel shelf, in accordance with Parcel shelf Parcel Shelf, Replacing.

Installation

Installing the parcel shelf





Install:
- the parcel shelf, in accordance with Parcel shelf Parcel Shelf, Replacing
- the screws, x2, under the parcel shelf.

Finishing




Fit the IR sensor's cable harness in the cargo compartment.
Plug in the cable harness connector to the control module for rear sound separation (RAS) in the cargo compartment.




When the car is equipped with a refrigerator, install the protective covers to the locks for the rear seat's backrest cushion.
Fold up the left and right-hand side panels in the cargo compartment.




Plug in the connector for the sun blind.
Install the left-hand side cushion.
Raise the rear seat backrest cushion to upright position.
