Gear selector lever assembly, replacing

Removal
Removing the center console
Remove the center console.

Removing the gear selector knob
Remove the gear selector knob.

Removing the top panel from the gear selector assembly
Remove the top panel.

Removing the gear selector assembly and cables
Remove





- the catch for the cable at the gear selector lever
- the cable from the end of the gear selector assembly
- the key lock cable. Pry out the yellow locking sleeve slightly. Lift the cable up from the gear selector assembly
- the 4 screws.

Removing the gear selector assembly stop
Transfer the gear selector assembly stop.

Removing the solenoid





Transfer the solenoid to the new gear selector assembly

Installation

Note: For tightening torques, see: Specifications.

Installing the cables and gear selector assembly





Tighten to 25 Nm.

Install
- the mechanical cable to the gear selector.
Secure the cable with the catch
- the cable to the end of the gear selector assembly
- the key lock cable to the gear selector assembly.
Place the cable in the extracted locking sleeve the cable will be adjusted).

Installing the top panel on the gear selector assembly
Install the top panel and boot.

Installing gear selector knob
Install the gear selector knob.

Installing the center console
Install the center console.
