Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

Washer fluid reservoir

Preparatory work

Removing the bumper cover
Remove the front bumper cover. Service and Repair

Component location




1. Headlamp washer motor, high-pressure
2. Windshield washer motor
3. Level sensor.

Removal

Removing the windshield washer fluid reservoir




Remove the screw for the fuel filler pipe.
Pull up the fuel filler pipe.
Detach the washer hoses at the washer motors (x2).
Drain the reservoir.
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove the 3 screws.
Lift down the reservoir.

Installation

Installing the windshield washer fluid reservoir
Position the reservoir.

Install:
- the 3 screws. Tighten. [1][2]Specifications
- the washer hoses.
Connect the connectors.
Press the filler pipe into place.
Install the screw.
Install the bumper cover. Service and Repair
