Removal
Removing the side panel
Remove:
- the load limiter in the cargo compartment as described in Luggage Compartment Cover Service and Repair
- the rear limit loader lock. See: Load limiter rear locking Load Limiter Rear Locking
- the sill molding in the cargo compartment by lifting it straight up (6 hidden clips and 2 guides).
Unplug the connectors to the sill molding.
Remove:
- the clip, x1
- the 1 x M6 nut
- the tool compartment
- the 4 x M8 lashing eyes
- the floor mat in the cargo compartment.
Note! Mark the height position of the support before removal.
Remove the screw, 1 x M6.
Carefully tap the support up.
Remove:
- the 2 M6 screws
- the support with corresponding panel
- the panel for supporting the roof in the lowered position.
Remove:
- the 4 x clips
- the 1 x M8 lashing eye
Raise the panel and angle it out over the support.
Installation

Installing the side panel
Install in the reverse order.
