Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair






Leak diagnostic pump, replacing

Preparation
Open the floor hatch. Remove the storage compartment.

Removing the spare wheel




Attach the crank and wind down the wheel.

Hint: Use the crank from the car tool kit.




Fold in the support plate and pull the wire through the wheel.
Remove the wheel.

Removing the leak diagnostic pump





Remove:
- the hoses
- the connector
- the pump. Pull straight back so that the rubber mounting releases from the rear suspension.

Installing the leak diagnostic pump

Install:
- the pump and rubber mounting
- the hoses. Use new clamps
- the connector.

Installing the spare wheel
Insert the wire in the wheel and fold out the support plate.
Carefully wind up the wheel.

Note! Guide the wheel whilst raising.

Finishing
Install the storage compartment and close the floor hatch.
