Removing the center console

Replacing the parking brake lever

Remove the parking brake lever




Remove the nut (1) for adjusting the parking brake. Pull out the cable.
Disconnect the connector (2) for the warning lamp.
Remove the three screws (3) holding the bracket for the parking brake lever. Remove the lever.

Install the parking brake lever





Install:
- the new bracket with parking brake lever in its mountings. Tighten to 25 Nm
- the connector for the warning lamp
- the cable in the parking brake lever
- the adjuster nut.
