Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair






Carbon filter container, replacing

Removal

Removing the carbon filter container





Remove:
- the screws and nut for the mounting for the carbon filter container
- the screw for the carbon filter container from the mounting.





Remove:
- the 2 terminal/outlets individually. Press in each catch and pull
- the outlet hose from the carbon filter container.

Installation

Installing the carbon filter container
Ensure that the carbon filter container secures in the hook at the front edge of the bracket and engages in its groove in the bracket.

Install:
- the M6 screw for the carbon filter container on the mounting
- the 2 terminals/outlets individually
- the outlet hose from the carbon filter container.

Note! Use a new hose clamp.

- the screws (M8) and nut (M8) for the mounting for the carbon filter container.
