Motor height control headlamp, replacing

Removal

Engine




- Disconnect the connector
- Remove the motor by twisting inwards and upwards
- Twist the motor downwards along the shaft so that the ball releases from the mounting on the reflector
- Remove the motor.

Installation

Engine




- Twist the adjusting screw on the motor so that the shaft is extended, in order to facilitate installation
- Remove the cover for the outer bulb
- Apply grease to the ball
- Pull the reflector backwards. Place the ball in the mounting for the reflector
- Place the ball in the groove of the mounting and twist the ball onto the mounting. Feel that the ball is correctly installed using your fingers
- Twist the motor upwards axially so that the ball slides into the mounting
- Twist the motor into the correct position
- Connect the connector
- Install the cover for the bulb
- Align the headlamps.
