Siren, replacing

Removal




- Deactivate alarm
- Turn the front wheels to the right
- Knock out or drill out the blind rivets from the front edge of the fender liner
- Remove the plastic nuts from the protective panel in the fender liner. Remove the protective panel
- Disconnect the front edge of the fender liner. Move the fender lining out of the way.




- Remove the screw from the siren. Remove the siren
- Disconnect the connector.

Installation
- Connect the connector. Position the siren. Tighten the screws for the siren. Tighten to:10 ± 2.5 Nm
- Remove any rivet swarf. Rivet the fender liner into place
- Install the splash guard.

Note! The siren must be configured after replacement. This is carried out via VIDA communication.
