Checking Components and Cables
Checking Components And Cables
Check passenger compartment temperature sensor resistance. For resistance values, see ECC electrical specifications. Electrical Specifications
Check cable between ECC control module #B6 and passenger compartment temperature sensor terminal 5 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check cable between ECC control module #B10 and passenger compartment temperature sensor terminal 3 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals
Hint: A short-circuit on the ground lead can be caused by a short-circuit to supply voltage. Always check ground lead as well for this fault cause.
Remedy as necessary.
