Secure/Unsecure the SIPS Airbag

Secure/unsecure the SIPS airbag

If the car has SIPS bag (see decal in the windshield) this should be secured before work on the seat begins.

Fold up the seat compartment; lift up the front edge and press the compartment backwards.




Remove the transit safety catch from the holder on the inside of the seat compartment.

Install the transit safety catch in the sensor module.




When work on the seat is finished unsecure the SIPS- airbag. Remove transit safety catch from sensor module. Install transit safety catch in the holder on the inside of the seat compartment.

Install seat compartment.
