Left Rear Coolant Pipe (on Transmission)

Removing

- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Coolant, Draining ] Coolant, Draining.

- Remove the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Particulate Filter and Rear Exhaust Pipe Overview ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Particulate Filter and Rear Exhaust Pipe Overview.

- Free up the coolant hoses - arrow -.






- Loosen the hose clamp - 2 -, lift the clamp - 4 - in order to remove the coolant hoses.






- Free up the transmission vent hose - arrow -.

- Remove the bolts - 1 and 3 -, then remove the left coolant pipe from the back of the transmission and the coolant hoses.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Coolant Pipes Overview.

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

- Install the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Particulate Filter and Rear Exhaust Pipe Overview ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter, Particulate Filter and Rear Exhaust Pipe Overview.

- Fill the coolant. Refer to => [ Coolant, Filling ] Coolant, Filling.
