- Remove the heating and A/C unit. Refer to => [ Heating and A/C Unit ] Heating and A/C Unit.






1 Upper Part Of The Distribution Box

• The upper section is attached to the lower section with bolts - 3 - and clips - 2 -.

2 Expansion Valve

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Expansion Valve ] Expansion Valve.

3 Evaporator

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Evaporator ] Evaporator.

• Note seal.

4 Blower Housing

5 Fresh Air Blower (V2)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fresh Air Blower (V2) ] Service and Repair.

6 Condensate Drain Hose

• The condensation water drain hose with valve must not be kinked or pinched. Refer to => [ Condensation Water Drain Hose with Valve, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

7 Front Passenger Side Footwell Vent

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Footwell Vent, Front Passenger Side ] Footwell Vent, Front Passenger Side.

8 Driver Side Footwell Vent

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Footwell Vent, Driver Side ] Footwell Vent, Driver Side.

9 Heater Core

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Heater Core ] Service and Repair.

10 Auxiliary Heater Heating Element (Z35)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Auxiliary Heater Heating Element (Z35) ] Service and Repair.

• Depending on vehicle equipment

11 Junction Box

12 Lower Part Of The Distribution Box

Seal at Evaporator






Pay attention to the seal - arrows - all around the evaporator.
