Front Brake Caliper Overview, Brembo 18", 1LJ

• Install complete repair kit when servicing.

• Only use mineral spirits to clean brake parts.

• Apply thin coat of assembly paste (G 052 150 A2) to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.






1 Bleeder Valve

• 12 Nm

• Apply a thin coat of assembly paste (G 052 150 A2) to the threads before screwing in.

• SW 11

2 Dust Cap

• Install onto bleeder valve.

3 Brake Caliper

4 Retaining Spring

5 Piston Seal

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper Pistons ] Front Brake Caliper Pistons.

6 36 mm Piston

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper Pistons ] Front Brake Caliper Pistons.

• First apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste (G 052 150 A2) on piston.

7 Piston Caps

• Do not damage when installing piston.

8 Bracket

• For the brake pad wear indicator wire.

9 Connecting Line

• 17 Nm
