Cowl Moulding / Trim: Service and Repair

Intake Housing

Removal

- Turn off all electric consumers.

- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the key.

- Remove the plenum chamber cover.

- Remove the engine control module.

- Loosen the engine control module bracket to gain access to the nuts - 1 -.






- Remove the nuts - 1 - and the air grille - A -.

- Grab the air intake shroud from the top and loosen the clamps - 1 -.






- Remove the air intake shroud from the plenum chamber.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

- Check the water drain valve - arrow - for dirt before installing it. Clean water drain valve if necessary.
