Transmission Mount: Description and Operation

Engine and Transmission Mounts Overview






1 Bolt

• 20 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Always replace.

• Transmission support to transmission mount bracket and to transmission support to transmission.

• Tightening sequence, refer to => [ Transmission Support to the Transmission Mount Bracket and the Transmission ].

2 Transmission Support

• To the transmission mount bracket and the transmission.

3 Engine Mount with Engine Mount Bracket

4 Bolt

• Pendulum support to subframe.

5 Pendulum Support

6 Bolt

• Pendulum support to transmission.

7 Bolt

• Pendulum support to transmission.

8 Bolt

• 40 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Always replace

• Tightening sequence, refer to => [ Transmission Mount Bracket to Transmission. ].

• Transmission mount bracket to transmission.

9 Transmission Mount Bracket

10 Transmission Mount

• Checking the adjustment.

• Adjusting.

11 Bolt

• Transmission mount to body.

12 Bolt

• 60 Nm + an additional 90° (turn).

• Always replace.

• Tightening sequence, refer to => [ Securing the Transmission Mount to the Transmission Mount Bracket ].

• Transmission mount to transmission mount bracket.

• Adjust the transmission mount.

Securing the Transmission Mount to the Transmission Mount Bracket





- Replace the bolts - arrows -.

- Tighten all the bolts hand tight.

- Tighten the bolt to specification.

Transmission Support to the Transmission Mount Bracket and the Transmission





- Replace the bolts - arrows -.

- First, tighten both bolts hand tight.

- Tighten the bolts to specification.

Transmission Mount Bracket to Transmission.





- Replace the bolts - arrows -.

- Tighten all the bolts hand-tight.

- Tighten the bolts to specification.
