Flywheel

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) (V.A.G 1331)

• Crankshaft Adapter (T03003)

• Locking Pin (T40069)

Removing

- Remove the transmission.

- Lock the crankshaft. Refer to => [ Crankshaft, Locking ] Procedures.

- Mark flywheel to the engine.

- Loosen the bolts => [ (Item 2) Bolts ] Flywheel Overview and remove the flywheel.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Flywheel Overview ] Flywheel Overview.

- Use new bolts.
