Tail Lamps Rear Lid

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removing

• The illustrations show removing and installing on the right side. The procedure for removal and installation on the left side is the same.

- Remove the service cover - 1 - from the rear lid trim panel.






- Pull the primary connector and disconnect the connector - arrow -.






- Remove the screw - 1 - and pull the tail lamp assembly out of the rear lid.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Connect the connector until it clicks into place and install the primary connector.

- Tighten the threaded connections to the tightening specification. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Tail Lamps Overview ] Rear Lid Tail Lamps Overview.
