Fresh Air Blower V2

The fan wheel can become deformed.

Setting the fresh air blower down incorrectly causes the fan wheel to become unbalanced.

Set the fresh air blower down so that the fan wheel is free.

Removing

- Remove the plastic screws - 2 - and the front passenger side footwell trim panel - 1 -.






- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to Storage Compartments and Covers under.

- Remove the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to => [ Right Footwell Vent ] Right Footwell Vent.

- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - from fresh air blower - 1 -.

- Release retainer- arrow a - and turn fresh air blower with the fresh air blower control module (J126) - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow b -. Release the retainers - 3 - by turning them.

- Remove the fresh air blower and the fresh air blower control module - 1 - from the heater and A/C unit - 4 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Make sure the wiring routing for the wiring harness is correctly connected to the fresh air blower.

- Install the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to => [ Right Footwell Vent ] Right Footwell Vent.

- Install the glove compartment. Refer to Storage Compartments and Covers under.

- Install the footwell trim panel for the front passenger side.
