Front Treble Speaker
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Wedges (T10383)
The left front treble speaker (R20) / right front treble speaker (R22) are installed inside the instrument panel.
• The following illustrations and procedures describe removing and installing the left front treble speaker.
• Removing and installing the right front treble speaker is identical.

Removing
- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the key.
• From December 2011, there is a new installation procedure. It is no longer necessary to remove the instrument panel. Only the cover needs to be removed.
- Remove the instrument panel in order to gain access to the left front treble speaker connector.
• Pull the cover - 1 - carefully under the sunlight photo sensor (G107) when removing.
- Pry the cover - 1 - outward on the left and right sides using (T10383) - arrows -.
- Remove the cover - 1 - from the instrument panel - 2 -.
- Remove the bolts - 1 -.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the treble speaker.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Tighten the left front treble speaker bolts to the tightening specification (2 Nm).
- Insert the clips on the cover into the mounts on the instrument panel, if necessary.
• Position the centering drift - 2 - in the center.
• Insert the pin into the clip.
- Push the cover - 1 - under the sunlight photo sensor.
- Attach the cover - 1 - from the inside to the outside.
