Front Belt Latch

• The following describes removing and installing the seat belt latch on the left seat. Removing and installing the right seat belt latch is identical.

Removing

- Install the (VAS 6136) on the (VAS 6095).

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Secure the seat on the (VAS 6136).

- Move the seat all the back.

Seat with Manual Height Adjustment

- Disconnect the wiring harness - 1 - from the seat frame.

- Guide the wiring harness - 1 - out of the seat wiring harness - 2 -.






Seat with Power Height Adjustment

- Disconnect the wiring harness - 1 - from the seat frame.

- Guide the wiring harness - 1 - out of the seat wiring harness - 2 -.






- Remove the bolt - 2 - (20 Nm).

• Bolt - 2 - is micro-encapsulated and must be replaced after each loosening.

• Before installing the new bolt, threads on nut must be cleaned, re-cut if necessary.

- Remove the seat belt latch - 1 - from the mount - 3 -.






Installation

- Position the seat belt latch - 1 - on the mount - 3 - so that the pin - 4 - locks into the seat belt latch - 1 -.

- Install in reverse order of removal.
