Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair






EVAP Canister

Removing

- Remove the lower right underbody panel, if equipped.

With Engine Code CCTA:

- Remove the lines - 1, 2 and 3 -. To do so, press in or press together the securing ring.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister - 4 -.

With Engine Code CBFA:

- Remove the lines - 1, 2 and 3 -. To do so, press in or press together the securing ring.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the EVAP canister - 4 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:

Attach the breather lines so that it audibly latches.
