Removal and Replacement






Engine and Transmission Mount Overview






1 Bolt

Tightening specification, refer to one of the following:

=> Manual Transmission Specifications.

=> Direct Shift Gearbox Specifications.

For the transmission mount bracket to the transmission.

2 Bolt

50 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the pendulum support to the transmission.

3 Engine Mount Bracket

4 Bolt

40 Nm + 180° (1/2) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the engine mount bracket to the engine.

5 Engine Mount

6 Bolt

40 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the engine mount to the body.

7 Bracket

8 Bolt

20 Nm + 90° (1/4) turn.

Always replace.

For the bracket to the body.

9 Bolt

20 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the bracket to the engine mount.

10 Bolt

40 Nm + 90° (1/4) turn.

Always replace.

For the engine mount to the body.

11 Bolt

60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the engine mount to the engine mount bracket.

12 Pendulum Support

First, secure the pendulum support to the transmission, and then to the subframe.

13 Bolt

100 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the pendulum support to the subframe.

14 Bolt

60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the transmission mount to the transmission mount bracket.

15 Bolt

40 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Always replace.

For the transmission mount to the body.

16 Transmission Mount

The graphic shows the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG).

17 Bolt

Tightening specification, refer to one of the following:

=> Manual Transmission Specifications.

=> Direct Shift Gearbox Specifications.

For the transmission support to the transmission.
