Accelerator Pedal Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Release Tool (T10238)

Removing

- Remove the steering column cover retainers - arrows - and cover.






- Pry out the cap using a screwdriver.

- Remove the bolt.

- Slide the release tool (T10238) as shown, into the openings designated for it until the tool stops and remove the accelerator pedal module.






- Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal module.

Installing

- Connect the connector - 2 - to the accelerator pedal module - 5 - and push the rubber sleeve - 1 - onto the connector again.






- Press the accelerator pedal module onto the pins - 6 -.

- Insert the centering pin - 7 - into the hole on the vehicle floor.

- Secure the accelerator pedal module with the bolt - 3 -.

- Install the cap - 4 -.

- Install the steering column cover and retainers - arrows -.
