Lock Carrier with Attachments

Removing

The lock carrier is a safety-relevant component and for this reason it may not be serviced.

If damaged, replace the lock carrier.






- Bring into the service position. Refer to => [ Service Position ] Service Position.

- Disconnect the electrical harness connectors present.

- Drain the coolant and disconnect the coolant lines.

- Disconnect the lines on the condenser.

- Turn the guide pins (T 10093) on the left and right longitudinal member - 2 - and remove the lock carrier and attachments - 1 -. A second technician is needed to do this.


Do not start the engine whenever the A/C system or coolant lines are disconnected.

Never hang the condenser and the hydraulic fluid cooler on the lines.

Never bend the condenser lines or the hydraulic fluid lines.

Installation

- Bring out of service position. Refer to => [ Service Position ] Service Position.

Further installation is in reverse order of removal.

Make sure that all plug- and hose connections are corrected installed when re-assembling.

- Align the lock carrier on the longitudinal members and between the fenders.
