Storage Compartment and Ashtray, Jetta from MY 10 and Golf Wagon from MY 10

Removing

- Switch off the ignition.

Vehicles with automatic transmission

- Loosen boot from cover.

Vehicles with manual transmission and Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)

- Loosen boot from cover.

All vehicles

- Remove the two bolts - 1 - (1.5 Nm).






- Remove the ashtray - 2 - from center console and (depending on vehicle equipment) disconnect the wiring harnesses.

• A storage compartment may be installed in place of an ashtray. Removing the storage compartment is identical to removing the ashtray.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
