Roof Edge Spoiler Retaining Strip

Removing

• It is not possible to remove the retaining strip without breaking it.






• The roof spoiler - 3 - is removed.

- Cut through adhesive bead - 2 - with help of cutting wire and pull handles.

- Remove the retaining strip from the rear lid. When doing this, any remaining adhesive - 2 - will come loose. The hooks - 4 - in the brake lamp opening will likewise disengage.

Installing






• Adhesive surfaces - 2 - on retaining strip and rear lid are primed.

- Apply adhesive bead in retaining strip depression.

- Align the retaining strip - 3 - on the brake lamp opening.

- Press the retaining strip securely to the rear lid - 1 - until the hooks - 4 - engage.

- Secure the retaining strip with tape.
