Filler Tube For Windshield/Headlamp Washer System

Prior to removal of the tank for the windshield/headlamp washer system, the filler tube - 1 - must first be removed in both tank versions.

Tank for windshield washer system and headlamp cleaning system is in three parts and designed to be fitted together.

• In order to guarantee the correct position of the parts with respect to each other, make sure that guides present on the individual components engage in each other during installation.

1 Filler tube for tank for windshield washer system and headlamp cleaning system
2 Filler tube connecting pipe to tank (is removed and installed together with tank)
3 Washer fluid reservoir

Removal

- Disconnect the connecting tube - 1 - from the filler tube - 3 - of the tank for the windshield/headlamp washer system.






- Unscrew the mounting bolt - 2 -.

- Unclip the hose bracket from the filler tube - 3 - and remove the filler tube - 3 - from the vehicle.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Casting mark on under side of filler tube must be inserted into engine mounting hole - arrow -.






Connecting tube - 1 - and filler tube - 2 - must be joined so that the guides - arrows - engage in each other.






- Tighten the mounting bolt - 2 - to 2.5 Nm.






- Clip in the hose bracket of the filler tube - 3 -.
