Lifting Cylinder For Headlamp Spray Nozzles

• The illustrations show the procedure for removing and installing the left lift cylinder. The procedure for the right cylinder is the same.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Remove the spray nozzles with the cap - 1 - from the bumper cover to the stop.






- Unclip the cap - 1 - on both sides from the bearings - arrows - on the spray nozzle holder.






- Release the hose connection - 1 - and remove from the lift cylinder - 2 -.

- Press the latching mechanisms - arrows - on both sides and remove the lift cylinder - 2 - toward the back out of the mount.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Bleed the headlamp washer system after conclusion of the assembly steps. Refer to=> [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
