Frame Seals

Removing

- Remove the frame for the panorama sunroof. Refer to => [ Assembly Unit ] Assembly Unit

- Remove the damaged seal.

- Remove any remaining adhesive with adhesive remover (VAS 6349).

Installation

- Smooth out the adhesive surface with commercially available steel wool.

- Make sure there is no dust or grease on the adhesive surface.

- Clean the adhesive surfaces thoroughly with cleaning solution (D 009 401 04).

- Little by little, pull off the protective film from the adhesive strip and press on the new seal.

- Press the seal on evenly to prevent any excess length.

- Using the roller (3356) press the seal two times firmly and evenly all the way around.

- Install the frame for the panorama sunroof. Refer to => [ Assembly Unit ] Assembly Unit
