Driver Side Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009

Removing

- Remove left side instrument panel cover. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Side Covers ] Instrument Panel Side Covers

- Remove Infotainment trim. Refer to => [ Infotainment Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009 ] Infotainment Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009

- Remove instrument panel center trim. Refer to => [ Center Instrument Panel Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009 ] Center Instrument Panel Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009

- Remove instrument cluster trim. Refer to => [ Instrument Cluster Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009 ] Instrument Cluster Trim, Passat from MY 2006, Passat Wagon from MY 2006, and Passat CC from MY 2009

- Remove two side screws - 1 - (1.5 Nm).

- Press rotary light switch in as far as stop, rotate it toward right until it stands vertically, now pull it out and disconnect wiring harness.

- Remove the bolt - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the two bolts - 3 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the two bolts - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

- Loosen trim from instrument panel.

- Disconnect wiring harnesses from automatic headlamp range control and parking brake switch.

- Disconnect wiring harness from ignition lock.






Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
