Upper B-Pillar trim, Tightening and Loosening from Mount for Passat CC from 2009 and CC from 2010

• The following describes removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove airbag emblem - 2 -.

- Pull the trim around the catches - 3 - and - 4 - out of the mounts in the lower B-pillar trim.

- Using a small screwdriver through the opening for the emblem, unlock the clip - 1 - - arrow - while pressing the trim upward at the same time and then tilting it toward the inside.






Installing

- Slide seat belt height adjuster to the topmost position.

- Position slide in trim in highest position.

- Install in reverse order of removal.

After installation, perform the following function test on the belt height adjuster:

- Operate height adjuster slide and position height adjuster in highest position.

- Pull seat belt down.

- Height adjuster must engage in highest lock position when doing so!
