Front Bumper Cover

• Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures of front bumper cover, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing






- Remove the lock carrier trim panel. Refer to => [ Lock Carrier Trim Panel ] Lock Carrier Trim Panel.

- Remove the front wheel housing liner from the front bumper.

- Remove the left and right bolts - 3 - inside the wheel housing (facing up).

- Remove the bolts - 4 - from underneath.

- Remove the bolts - 2 - from above.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

- Pull the front bumper cover - 1 - out of the guides on the left and right sides of the fender - arrows a -.

- Remove the front bumper cover - 1 - from the striker pin in the mount next to the left and right headlamp.

- Remove the front bumper cover - 1 - - arrows b - from the vehicle. A second technician is needed for this.

- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.

Installation






- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.

- With the assistance of a second technician, guide the front bumper cover - 1 - parallel onto the guide on the lock carrier.

- Push the front bumper cover - 1 - into the guides on the left and right fenders until it locks.

- Install the front bumper cover - 1 - in the striker pin in the mount next to the left and right headlamp.

- Pay attention to the parallel alignment and the gap dimensions.

- Attach and tighten bolts - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -.

Bolt tightening specification - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -: 2 Nm

- Install the lock carrier trim panel. Refer to => [ Lock Carrier Trim Panel ] Lock Carrier Trim Panel.
