Roof Antenna (R216)

• Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

Depending on the equipment level, the roof antenna can have 1 to 3 wires. These are attached to the top of the rear lid - 1 - through - 3 -.






- Disconnect the connectors - 2 - and free up the antenna wires up to the roof antenna.






- Remove the nut - 1 - and the roof antenna..

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Make sure the seal fits correctly when mounting the roof antenna.

- Make sure the antenna wires - 1 - are routed correctly through the opening in the nut - 2 - after mounting the roof antenna.






- Tighten the threaded connections to the tightening specification. Refer to => [ Antenna Systems Overview ] Antenna Systems Overview.
