Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

- Release the locking mechanisms for the side air vents - 1 - and - 4 - with the (3409) and remove it from the instrument panel - 3 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Insert and fasten the side window air vents - 1 - and - 4 - into the instrument panel - 3 - so that the centering drift - 2 - for the side window air vent fits into the opening on the instrument panel.

• The side window air vents only fit into the instrument panel when in the correct installation position.

• The correct installation position is determined using the centering drift for the side window air vent - 2 -.
