Side Air Vents

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

- Remove the side instrument panel cover.

Vehicles with electrically controlled A/C System

- Remove the left vent temperature sensor (G150) and right vent temperature sensor (G151). Refer to => [ Left Vent Temperature Sensor (G150) ] Left Vent Temperature Sensor (G150).

All vehicles

- Reach into the side opening of the instrument panel - 2 - with one hand and push the side air vent- 1 - or - 4 - slightly in the direction of the vehicle interior. Loosen the side air vents - 1 - or - 4 - by hand or with the (3409) from the outside, while supporting them with the retainers - 3 -.

- Remove the side air vents - 1 - or - 4 - from the instrument panel - 2 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all fasteners for damage and replace them if necessary for installing.

Vehicles with electrically controlled A/C System

- Install the vent temperature sensor. Refer to => [ Left Vent Temperature Sensor (G150) ] Left Vent Temperature Sensor (G150).

All vehicles

- Install the side instrument panel cover.
