Headlamp Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer System Pump (V11)

The headlamp washer pump is installed at tank for windshield washing system and headlamp cleaning system in right wheel housing.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove tank for windshield washer system and headlamp cleaning system. Refer to => [ Windshield and Headlamp Washer Fluid Reservoir ] Windshield and Headlamp Washer Fluid Reservoir.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 - on the headlamp washer pump - 2 -.






- Turn the headlamp washer pump - 2 - inside the reservoir so that the hose connection on the pump faces toward the outside.

- Remove the headlamp washer pump - 2 - from the reservoir in - direction of arrow -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work. Refer to => [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
