Left Intermediate Pipe

Removing

- Remove the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter

- Remove the engine speed sensor connector - arrow - from the bracket and disconnect it.






- Remove the nuts - arrows - and the connector bracket from the left engine mount bracket.






- Remove the bolts - 1 through 3 - and the oil return line.






• The engine and intermediate pipe are shown removed in the illustration.

- Remove the intermediate pipe bolts/nuts - arrows -.






Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Replace gaskets and O-rings.

- Install the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter. Refer to => [ Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter ] Front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter.

Tightening Specifications






• 1 Replace the bolts/nuts.

• 2 Coat with hot bolt paste, refer to the Parts Catalog.
