Headlamp Washer Lift Cylinder







Do not remove the spray nozzle lift cylinders by hand.

Depending on the design, a lift cylinder, which was manually removed, can jam up during the return stroke.

Do not manually push the lift cylinder back down; this will damage the lift cylinder.

A jammed lift cylinder will become functional again once it activated by the system.

Extend the lift cylinder only with water or air pressure.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the spray nozzle holder. Refer to => [ Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle Holder ] Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle Holder.

- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Press the release button - arrow - and pull the lift cylinder - 1 - to the rear and out of the bracket.






Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work. Refer to => [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
