Parking Lamp Bulb

• The following illustrations depict replacement of right parking lamp bulb. The procedure for replacing the left parking lamp is the same.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Pull off cover cap - 1 -.






- Disengage the lamp socket with the grip piece - 1 - out of the headlamp housing - arrow A -.






- Remove the lamp socket with the grip piece - 1 - to the rear, while being careful of connected wires, out of the headlamp housing - arrow B -.

- Pull the parking lamp bulb - 1 - in - direction of the arrow - straight out of the lamp socket using the grip piece - 2 -.






Installing


When installing the cover cap, make sure the cap is properly seated. It is destroyed by entry of water into headlamp.

• Do not touch the glass of the light bulb, when installing. Your fingers will leave traces of grease on the glass which, when the light is switched on, will evaporate and cloud the glass.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- When installing the parking lamp bulb into the headlamp, make sure that the lamp socket with the grip piece is again engaged properly in the headlamp housing.

- Check headlamp for function.
