HID Headlamp and Cornering Lamp Overview

• After performing any work that could affect the headlamp adjustment, check the adjustment and adjust if necessary. Refer to Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting.






1 Cap

2 Left High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp (L13) and Right High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp (L14)

• Type D1S, 35W

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ HID Bulbs ] HID Bulbs.

3 Left Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V48) and Right Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor (V49)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ HID Headlamp Range Control Positioning Motor ] HID Headlamp Range Control Positioning Motor.

4 Left Cornering Lamp (L148) or Right Cornering Lamp (L149)

• 12V, 55 W

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Cornering Lamp Bulb ] Cornering Lamp Bulb.

5 Left Parking Lamp (M1) and Right Parking Lamp (M3)

• Lamp 12V, W 5 W

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Parking Lamp Bulb ] Parking Lamp Bulb.

6 Lamp Socket With Grip

• For Left front turn signal bulb (M5) and Right front turn signal bulb (M7)

7 Left Front Turn Signal Light (M5) and Right Front Turn Signal Light (M7)

• Bulb 12V, 21 W

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Turn Signal Bulb ] Front Turn Signal Bulb.

9 Headlamp

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ HID Headlamps With Cornering Lamp ] HID Headlamps With Cornering Lamp.

• Correcting installation position of headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamps, Correcting Installation Position ] Headlamps, Correcting Installation Position.

• Servicing headlamp securing straps, refer to => [ Headlamp Mounting Tabs, Servicing ] Headlamp Mounting Tabs, Servicing.

10 Mounting Screw, Headlamp To Body

• 8 Nm

11 Left High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module (J343) and Right High-intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module (J344)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ HID Headlamp Control Module (J343)/(J344) ] HID Headlamp Control Module (J343)/(J344).

12 Screw Secure HID Headlamp Control Module To The Headlamp

13 Headlamp Range Control Module (J745)

• Mounting bolt tightening specification: 3 Nm

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J745) ] Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J745).

• Coding, refer to => [ Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J745), Coding ] Testing and Inspection.

• Perform a basic setting on the headlamp after coding the Headlamp range control module (J745). Refer to Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting.

14 Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76)

• Mounting bolt tightening specification: 5 Nm

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ HID Level Control System Sensor ] HID Level Control System Sensor.

• Checking => [ HID Vehicle Level Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

15 Mounting Screws, Carrier To Body

• Tightening Specifications 8 Nm

• Follow the tightening sequence! Refer to => [ HID Headlamps With Cornering Lamp ] HID Headlamps With Cornering Lamp.

16 Carrier

17 Screws Connect The Headlamp Power Output Stage To The Headlamp

18 Left Headlamp Power Output Stage (J667) or Right Headlamp Power Output Stage (J668)
