If specification is not reached or exceeded, replace pump:

Removing and installing power steering pump, vehicles with low-mounted power steering pump => [ Low Mounted Power Steering Pump ] Low Mounted Power Steering Pump.

If power steering fluid is low in the servo fluid reservoir, check steering system for leaks.

In case of leaks at steering pinion, check lines/line connections for leaks, if necessary tighten and wipe dry.

In case of leaks at the steering pinion or at pinion shaft seal in steering housing, the steering gear must be replaced.

To test rack seal open hose clamp of boots and set boots aside.
